Recycle It, Don't Trash It! is an anti-pollution slogan that was imported into North America from 1992. It was part of the government's "Trashing it is completely uncool" campaign, and, by extension, part of the larger War on Pollution effort

Much of the motive behind appliance recycling is the concern about the fate of hazardous materials in most of them. Keeping them out of the landfills has been the main concern. With our easy appliance recycling program there are no reason to send them to landfills.
